Devin Walls

Scenic Designer

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Devin Walls moved to Chicago in 2018 and graduated from DePaul University with a BFA in Scenic Design in 2023. Originally joining HMR Designs in the summer of 2021, Devin has been an integral part of the art production team and has helped with a plethora of large scale weddings and events. Having previous experience working with CAD design during his time at DePaul, Devin’s unique skill set makes him the perfect addition to the HMR team.

In his free time, Devin loves experiencing the vast variety of adventures Chicago has to offer. Hitting the beach with friends or reading a good book in the summertime is an ideal day in Devin’s eyes.

Who is your favorite artist? I love Gustave Klimt, his art really speaks to me and I admire his creativity!
What is a fun fact about you? I actually have an identical twin brother who also lives in Chicago! We both moved from Colorado at the same time and never left.
What is your favorite place in the world? I love Chicago but New Zealand will always have a special place in my heart since my Dad is from there.
