Originally from both Chicago and Indiana, Kathy graduated from DePaul University with a BFA in Technical Theater. Kathy’s technical background includes event production, construction, and lighting. This experience helps her assist the Event Designers choose the appropriate pieces to complete their designs. As the Hard Goods Buyer and Inventory Specialist, Kathy helps manage the organization of HMR’s extensive rental portfolio. Kathy has 30 years of event industry expertise and has been involved in the production of events all over North America — including events for Corporations, Presidents & Royalty.

Whether it’s a last minute decor add on, or customizing an event design with an “impossible to find” piece, Kathy is the go-to person behind the scenes.  When she is not tracking down items for the designers she spends her free time on Ancestry.com.
