Mal Marencik
Director of SalesMal Marencik is a talented Senior Event Designer and creative leader, currently serving as Director of Sales at HMR Designs. She is known for crafting immersive, design-driven experiences that translate vision into reality, pairing artistic intuition with a highly intentional client process.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the foundation of her career, Mal approaches event design through the lens of storytelling, spatial awareness, and refined composition. Her work reflects a deep understanding of how color, form, and environment come together to create moments that feel both elevated and emotionally resonant. Throughout her career, she has designed and produced standout luxury weddings, corporate events, and large scale social celebrations, creating experiences that are both memorable and enduring.
At HMR Designs, Mal collaborates closely with clients and internal teams to transform imaginative concepts into beautifully executed experiences. Her design background informs every stage of the journey, ensuring each event is thoughtfully conceived, meticulously detailed, and flawlessly brought to life.

- What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited? I absolutely love Santorini! I love the contrast of the white architecure against the blue water of the Caldera and the peaceful, serene, intention behind it all.
- What’s a fun fact about you? I always know the PERFECT time to take cookies out of the oven :)
- If you weren’t in this industry, what do you think you’d be doing? I really love engaging with people and clients, so I think I would be excellent in PR. I’m naturally relationship driven, a great listener, and genuinely enjoy building connections and positioning ideas or brands in a way that resonates. I also thrive in fast paced, client facing environments where communication, intuition, and attention to detail really matter.
