The Scenic Carpenter works in the Woodshop and is responsible for constructing and repairing props and structures used for the company’s events. The employee also provides general carpentry support with various shop projects and related tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Pleasant, confidant, and professional demeanor in interactions with colleagues & clients.
2. Scenic Carpenter. Grade 9 Carpenter. Apprentice Cabinet Maker.
3. Fit and finish skills.
4. Excellent organization & safety skills.
5. Punctual. Able to work with minimum supervision and multi-task.
6. Able to speak, read, and write in English.
7. Able to lift to 75 lbs. and be on one’s feet for lengthy periods of time.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
1. Build and repair props and structures as needed
2. Keep the work area clean & organized
3. Use safety precautions during all work
4. Theater mindset for builds = temporary use of structures
5. On-site work / Install team to include:
