About the Role
HMR Designs is hiring a Warehouse Team Member to support daily warehouse operations and the preparation of event materials. This role involves handling inventory, organizing items, and assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks to help facilitate event production needs.
Compensation & Schedule
- $18/hr starting pay with potential for more based on experience
- 401(k) available
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Evening and weekend hours may be available (not required)
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks with carts and various event-related items, using straps and bars to ensure safe transport
- Pack and unpack boxes with decor items and furniture
- Clean and store various event components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory projects
- Take direction while also working independently to complete tasks
Requirements
- Pleasant, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and remain on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to take direction from and collaborate with production staff
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to arrive on time in proper uniform for scheduled shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of consecutive experience in a warehouse environment
