David Epstein

Event Designer

David has been designing events with the HMR team since 1998. His unique style combines big ideas, bold color, and inventive twists to create extraordinary event experiences. He’s made his mark as a meticulous planner, immersing himself in every detail key to orchestrating successful projects.

Having earned the trust of top corporations, planners, and venues, David hones his craft producing corporate events at trade shows, major sporting events, charity galas, political events, and private celebrations. To this day, he is continually driven and inspired by opportunity—to achieve new things, to break new ground, to create new bonds, to smile, and to grow.

Recent Work

  • What is your most memorable HMR project? Conquering ten-blocks of Miami’s Ocean Drive for an amazing 3-day street party during Super Bowl XLI.
  • What inspires you outside of HMR? I’ve long been a live music addict, a closet musician and a rabid reader of history. I love travel and have explored some pretty far-flung corners of the world, but I really enjoy planning fun and inspiring trips much closer to home.
  • Professional Outlook: Designing events has always been my dream job. I love my daily interaction with clients and all the talented artists I have the privilege of collaborating with. Bouncing ideas around in the quest to create something special is both exciting and a constant challenge. And the best part? Bringing it all together and literally constructing the big picture in vivid reality and bold color. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment to produce a great event!

Testimonials

  • I want to take a moment to thank you for your outstanding work on the Clinton Global Initiative program in Chicago. The green rooms at Sheraton…perfect. The event last night at Field Museum…amazing! You guys knocked it out of the park (once again!). The last minute additions at Sepia were also appreciated. It was all quite perfect and we couldn’t be more grateful for your hard work and expertise.

  • My, my, my, – What’s a girl to say? It was so glorious and the people are still talking about it. Thank you for your calm, kind, accommodating spirit and keeping it all together. For many who attended “an experience of a lifetime,” they say. We are forever grateful.
