Well Seasoned
Winter party decor warms us up every time. Among many other perks, working in the event industry regularly reminds us that there is beauty in all the seasons. For every perfectly breezy and peony-adorned summer ceremony, there’s an equally lovely cozy and candlelit winter reception. Just as we modify our clothing, food, beverages and pastimes to the changing seasons, we also adorn our spaces accordingly. It’s part of the fun.

As winter sets in here in the midwest, keeping this in mind can be crucial to survive the months ahead. So sit back with a warm toddy or rich glass of red, and join us as we reflect on some of the beauty that only winter celebrations can call forth.
GIVE THE GREENS LIGHT
This late-December wedding celebration made you wish for frigid night, only to escape into the warmth of a boxwood and candlelight-enveloped Casino Club.
The twinkling, lush green ceremony transitioned into a reception peppered with surprisingly bright pops of color and lighting perfection:

SQUARED AWAY
For this corporate holiday party, illuminated frames outfitted with crystal ornaments proved that Christmas celebrations don’t have to include trees or wreaths to be wonderfully festive.

The loose holiday greens and red roses atop white tables also helped to subtly summon the holiday spirit within the impeccably lit 19 East.
For cocktails and dancing, Frost Chicago took the temperature down with a deep cobalt, and custom cozy lounges complete with rich gold candlelight, loose orchids and greens helped make for a truly chic way to spend a winter evening.

CRYSTAL BALL
Guests were invited to start off the new year right at this marvelously posh and crystal-adorned wedding celebration at Four Seasons Chicago.

A rotating champagne tower, luxe gold lounges and a custom crystal canopy suspended over the dance floor all made it rather hard to be mad at winter, or anything else for that matter.
